Alchème Studio Necklace and Bracelet Size Guide

To ensure your necklace or bracelet fits perfectly, follow these steps to measure accurately in millimeters.

How to Measure for Necklaces

  1. Gather Your Materials
You’ll need a soft measuring tape in millimeters, or a piece of string and a ruler marked in millimeters.

  2. Measure Your Neck

    • Place the measuring tape or string around your neck, just above the collarbone, where you would naturally wear a necklace. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight to get an accurate neck circumference.

    • If using string, mark where the ends meet, then measure the string with a ruler in millimeters.

  3. Choosing the Necklace Length

    • Your neck measurement is your base size. Use the chart below to select the necklace length that best suits your style:

      • Snug: Neck size + 25 mm (for a close fit)

      • Classic: Neck size + 50-100 mm (for a length that rests near the collarbone)

      • Loose: Neck size + 100-150 mm (for a slightly longer drape)

Tip: If in doubt, consider going up a size, especially for chunkier styles.

How to Measure for Bracelets

  1. Gather Your Materials
You’ll need a flexible measuring tape in millimeters or a piece of string and a ruler in millimeters.

  2. Measure Your Wrist

    • Wrap the measuring tape or string around your wrist, just above the wrist bone, where you’d typically wear a bracelet. The tape should be snug for an accurate circumference.

    • If using string, mark where the ends meet and measure the length in millimeters.

  3. Choosing the Bracelet Size

    • For a fitted bracelet, use your wrist measurement directly.

    • For a slightly relaxed fit, add 6-13 mm to your wrist measurement.

  4. Style Guide by Fit

    • Snug Fit: Wrist size measurement

    • Comfort Fit: Wrist size + 6 mm

    • Loose Fit: Wrist size + 13 mm

Note: For both necklaces and bracelets, your initial neck or wrist measurement is the true size without adding extra space. Any adjustments for comfort depend on your style preference and chosen fit.
